Sustainability: Taking the Long View. Society for College and University Planning. Guest edited a special theme issue of Planning for Higher Education on environmental sustainability and higher education. Planned content and organization of issue, and worked with fellow members of the Society for College and University Planning's Sustainability Task Force to identify authors for the issue. Worked with authors and reviewers in editorial/advisory capacity. Wrote introduction and assisted in compiling and extensively edited the Resources for Practitioners piece. Nexus Report series, Society for College and University Planning. A long-term analysis of trends in higher education affecting campus building and facilities maintenance plans, educational delivery methods, and administrative strategies for the Society for College and University Planning; results written up as Nexus, a series of five articles published in the Society's flagship journal, Planning for Higher Education, from Fall 1999 to Fall 2000.

"Top Ten," University of California, Riverside. Outlined a list of top issues facing higher education and leading thinkers on each issue for an administrative planning session as part of a two year long visioning process at the university titled "URC 2010."

Benchmarking research for the new campus of University of California, Merced. Used in campus planning as well as land use planning; this series of three reports presented options focusing on sustainability and environmentally-oriented curriculum and research for building a new campus on an environmentally sensitive site, as well as information on campus design, campus building trends, accreditation requirements, faculty recruitment, and campus safety.
